Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Zoniax Innovations Ltd (“Zoniax”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile applications and web services (collectively, the “Services”). It is designed to satisfy the disclosure expectations for Apple App Store and Google Play.

1. Scope

This policy applies to: (a) our iOS and Android apps used with industrial sensors, gateways, and dashboards; and (b) our SaaS/web platform for data visualization, alerts, and device management. Some data handling depends on your organization’s configuration and permissions.

Depending on how your organization deploys and uses the Services, we may process the following categories:

Permissions are requested in-app at runtime where applicable. If you deny a permission, related features may be limited.

3. How We Use Data

  • Provide and operate the Services (identity, access, device provisioning, dashboards, alerts)
  • Improve reliability and safety (diagnostics, crash reports, performance)
  • Security and abuse prevention (audit logs, anomaly detection)
  • Customer support and troubleshooting
  • Research and development, including prototyping AI models using de‑identified or organization‑controlled datasets
  • Legal compliance and to enforce terms

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:

  • Processors/Service Providers that host, process, or analyze data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, monitoring, crash analytics) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Integrations your organization enables (e.g., SSO, ERP/MES/CMMS, data lakes). Data flows to these systems are controlled by your organization.
  • Legal/Compliance where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Services.

5. Data Retention

Account and telemetry data are retained according to your organization’s configuration and applicable law. We retain diagnostic logs for a limited period to ensure stability and security, then delete or anonymize them.

6. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, role‑based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to continuously improve our protections.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are designed for professional/industrial use and are not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access/Correction/Deletion: Contact your organization’s administrator or us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity.
  • Permissions: You can control app permissions (e.g., location, camera) in your device settings.
  • Marketing: We do not use in‑app data for advertising. You can opt out of optional communications where applicable.

9. International Transfers

We may process data in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers.

10. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Services); compliance with legal obligations; and, where required, consent (e.g., device permissions).

11. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. We honor access, correction, and deletion requests subject to verification and exceptions.

12. Third‑Party Services

Depending on deployment, the Services may use third‑party providers (e.g., hosting, SSO, crash analytics). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Your organization controls which integrations are enabled.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Effective” date above and, where required, by additional notice.
